Hope
A phoenix rising ...

What do we think of when we see a Phoenix - well, I mean, apart from the fact that one of my horses is called Phoenix, so if anyone says something about one, my first thought is - what's she done now?!
A fire, destruction, the end of life, the loss of possessions being turned into the rising up to something better ............
HOPE
Before hope though, we have to acknowledge despair, to acknowledge the pain that we feel at the loss of the before - to hold the memories and to know what we are holding - without letting them take over and push us back into the flames.
The phoenix never rises fully grown in total conquering over the fire, but in wispy tendrils, pulling together, searching each other, and, almost with fear, finding the way forward as a whole part of a person - not just one part - but each, slowly, tentatively, winding around each other to form the phoenix that rises from the past into the future .....
And, our Phoenix works with people who are seeking to restore their calmness and hope in their lives.
