Summer thoughts on milking

Catching up with some thoughts!

Summer is weird - the weather is not great and there's an ongoing rush to try and get through the normal summer jobs and navigate winter weather!

Good and bad things happen throughout these days as you're rushing around and not getting so much time to slow down and be in mind and place - but this is, once again, getting back to a more steady place as milking starts again - the repetitive one two one two of the pulsator slows your mind down first thing in the morning as the milk flows in batches up the pipes into the milk tank - and although sometimes things can then run into chaos quickly - it's a slow meditative moment in life.

That's one of the things about a repetitive task is that it can bring your mind into a place of calmness and quietness - one two, one two, one two - and centre yourself into a quiet moment in time to remember the rest of the day that you can re-connect with when everything starts going a bit bonkers!

Stay safe and look around you and see what can bring your mind into a quiet moment of peace
